The Wee Windaes Scottish Restaurant, Edinburgh, Scotland

We went for dinner at The Wee Windaes Scottish Restaurant along the High Street on the famous Royal Mile on our second day in Edinburgh after again roaming around the city.

There were a lot of restaurants on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh City and we did not know where to eat. So we just went inside The Wee Windaes and tried their food.

We ordered smoked salmon and gravadlax for starters and sirloin steak for the main course. With that, we ordered an Australian red wine, a Peter Lehmann red wine, to be exact a Weighbridge Shiraz 2006. We did not order any desserts.

The smoked salmon and gravadlax was really good.

During our Scotland trip, we were almost always ordering salmon for starters.
