It has been a long time since we went to this restaurant in Park Hotel Weggis. It was a special day, so we thought of trying it out.
Gourmet Annex Restaurant or simply called Annex was already awarded with 16 Gault Millau points when we went there. I did not know that it was also awarded with 1 Michelin Star.
The food was definitely good and I never thought that a 4-course dinner menu would suffice. We all know that they serve food in small quantity in a fine dining restaurant, nevertheless, I had enough.
I just cannot remember the exact names of what we ate. I was not able to take photos of the white wine that we drank.
The food was reasonable with regard to price but the wines were quite expensive.
Well, according to Park Hotel Weggis Website, “The Restaurant Annex Wine List is a wine lover’s dream come true. The award-winning list of about 2’600 wine selections is a consistent winner of The Wine Spectator’s “Best of Award of Excellence”.

As of this writing, Annex Restaurant is open daily from 6.30 p.m. It is also open at midday on Sundays and public holidays. It is closed on Tuesday between April and October, and on Monday and Tuesday from November to March. Early booking is required here as it gets fully booked fast.
