We rarely went to an Indian restaurant so when we learned that there was an Indian restaurant in St. Andrews, we decided to try it.

We went to Maisha restaurant for dinner. Maisha was an authentic Indian and Seafood restaurant located along College Street in St. Andrews.

Maisha had quite a lot on the menu, so it was not at all easy to choose what to order.

We eventually ordered shrimps for starters. Hub ordered chicken curry and I ordered royal chicken for the main course. With that, we had a red wine from Chile, a Concha y Toro red wine, a Casillero del Diablo 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon.

I did not expect my order to be that much. It was almost good for two persons and it was really spicy too.

The food was fine and as much as I liked spicy food, the royal chicken was just too spicy for me.

Hub was able to finish his food but I was not able to finish the royal chicken.

In effect, I did not order dessert anymore.

For one thing, I already had a big serving of banana split ice cream at around 3:44 p.m. after we finished playing golf.
